Retreat for sexual assault survivors planned

On October 2 to 4, 2026, NWSGP has coordinated a sexual assault recovery retreat for survivors. There were 16 available spaces for survivors of sexual assault who would like to participate in the cultural activities for healing. These activities include horse therapy, water activities, archery and other crafting opportunities. Lodging and meals are provided.

Twelve advocates participated in the retreat for advocates at the beginning of September. The retreat was coordinated to provide advocates a time to take for themselves and to learn cultural ways, they can implement in their community.

The next planned retreat will be in the spring of 2027.
