Tech Safety topic for NWSGP Board training and meeting

The Native Women’s Society of the Great Plains board membership plan to meet in person on October 27 & 28, 2026 in Rapid City, SD. Aside from the business board meeting, program updates, they will participate in a training on tech safety for survivors. Laisa Schweigert, Senior Technology Safety Specialist with NNEDV’s Safety Net Project, will provide a presentation with a question and answer segment on providing tech support to survivors on how to be safe with today’s technology. Also a view of how organizations need to be safe online.
