Convening on Safe Housing Options for Survivors in Indian Country

Native Women’s Society of the Great Plains, First Nations Women’s Alliance and STTARS, the Indigenous Safe Housing Center are collaborating to offer a two-day summit on ‘Safe Housing Options for Survivors in Indian Country’ in Bismarck, ND on September 3 & 4, 2025.

The summit will offer presentations on the spectrum of housing in Indian country, safe housing options in tribal communities, history of homelessness, navigating the housing spectrum for advocates, advocating for systemic change and how VAWA 2022 be used to enhance available housing for survivors.

The summit will be at the Bismarck State College campus at the NECE auditorium on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 8 am to 5 pm and Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 8 am to 2:30 pm.
